Amy Chua is the John M. Duff Professor of Law at Yale Law School. She is the author of two scholarly works: World on Fire, and Day of Empire. Her memoir, Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, was a surprise bestseller, and set off a nationwide debate about parenting and the clash of Eastern and Western cultures.
