An interview with Tracy Kidder






Tracy Kidder burst into prominence in 1982 when his book The Soul of the New Machine won both the Pulitzer Prize and The National Book Award. A graduate of Harvard and the Iowa Creative Writing program, Kidder served as a regular contributor to The Atlantic Monthly before turning full time to narrative non-fiction. Strength in What Remains is his eighth book.
